Full backup capability with restore transfer functionality via Zune and cloud
This is a major issue that has persisted unaddressed since the release of WindowsPhone in November 2010. Microsoft has indeed demonstrated strong developer support with outstanding tools and even catering to SmartPhone-aware users by including features that many come to expect such as Copy-Paste in the “NoDo” update.
Unfortunately, addressing the question of backup and restore has never been given priority.

Allow me to change my Windows Live ID Region!!!!!
Look, I'm sick of the fact that you can't change regions for your Windows Live ID. I have an xbox, pc and windows phone and I cannot tell you how infuriating it is to not be able to. At the end of the day if MS doesn't change this i'll simply by Apple products. Apple lets me change regions just fine, no hassle. It's no skin off my nose, carry on MS and like others I will jump ship because I don't have to put up with your policies. Thanks for nothing.

A notification system like this
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/718/wpnewnotification4.png/
All the toast notifications you've missed can be summarized as small icons under the arrow symbol. Moving to the application list, you can see all the unread notification in the same place. A tap on the notification bring you to the relative app, a swipe on the notification delete it.
