Let me choose which account to send email from if I have multiple accounts linked to Gmail.

An option to delete all e-mails in a certain folder or mark them as read.

Would like to have different ring or alert for email from wife or "server down" subject and normal email can be silent at 2am.

Gmail currently has a "toggle flag" option but flagged emails aren't visible on the Gmail web client. "Toggle flag" should really mean "Star."

Currently, it seems we can only attach pictures. If we use our phones for anything other than entertainment, we need to be allowed to attach documents to our emails! Also, other apps should have access to this capability, so we can attach any type emails (with the exception of certain types that the client could warn about, but still attach if the user allows).

When getting Mails with attached WAV File from Mailboxes (e.g. IP-Telephony Swyx or AVM Fritz Box use WAV to send incoming Calls via Mail), these Files are not supported for Playback.

When adding attachments in email, instead of defaulting to pictures, have document sub category. Or just need a way to attach PDF files.

As soon as I reply to a mail with international characters I get a new subject thrown in the stream. This means that for my colleges that uses gmail, my mail always get thrown of in an new thread. I dont care if it's a standard that is used. It doesn't work with the current email structures. My inbox always looks like this:

Thread 1: Thomas, Peter (2) Kan vi ta vår lunch imorgon?
Thread 2: Me, Peter (2) RE: Kan vi ta v?r lunch imorgon?

It's NOT ok if you want to be taken seriously?

Please add support for Email attachments other than Pictures.

winmo 6 let you set the exchange sync schedule. you could turn it off so you didn't receive email during the night or on weekends. This is sorely missed in windows phone 7.
