Bing maps updated for Latin America

Rotate the map with current direction using the compass, not just when following directions.

The SDK lets you create a BingMapsDirectionsTask between two locations. But this screen always shows you the DRIVING directions. In my app I want to show walking directions. The user has to manually tap the walking person icon.

Create an extra property so I can set the default to Walking.

I have read about Nokia Drive with free navigation for life comming to all windows 8 handsets. Please include it with the Windows 7.8 update. We all love our windows phones, but without these kind of features we can't brag about them to much.

I want the same function as the US version to strengthen a Japanese BingMap.

BingMap of Japan is too poor and does not become useful.

Therefore, WP7 Japanese user is in trouble.

WP7 misunderstands the Japanese smart phone user with the poor smart phone.

Therefore, android is chosen.

It will be much better than the current Bing maps that these devices use.

Unbeliebably, similar to other Asian countries, we haven't had full bing map services in Windows Phone yet. We only have a few POIs and limited accuracy of routing.

As you know Japanese is heavy user of such location query services for example, we use public transport routing services "any time" we need to go new place by train.

You showed the location service is most differentiate feature in WP in Smoked by Windows Phone campaign by Ben. So lack of local scout means defeat of WP in the market.

the map app should have the ability to display content from other apps.

Import GPX/KML files with Favourites/POI in WP Maps

Could you have a Garmin,TomTom style Navigation, also having updates for driving, transit (bus routes, trains) with maps, walking routes, biking routes (trails)

Have an alternate routes feature in maps along with ability to edit route such as you would in the android os with google maps.

When you (or someone that invited you) entered a location in a calendar item, currently you cannot click it. I want to have a link to Bing Maps to see its location.

When I am listening to music and have a route set, the Voice is EXTREMELY quite. Need it to be louder, or have a volumecontrol

I am using Lumia 710 and the Maps feature is horrible compared to Google Maps. The handset does not allow direct web access to Google Maps (may be due OS restrictions). Please provide Google map or a good alternative.

For the years Nokia has not created a map of Belarus,it's bad.
