Make it so the power never shuts off. Remove all power buttons from all phones!

Backlight stays on when charging
Need back light to stay on when charging and listening to music so i can see the album art and music title while driving.

Enable wake up of phone (Lumia 710) from it's sleep mode by pressing Home key or by tapping the screen.
Pressing the on/off button is tedious on the Nokia Lumia 710 as the on/off button is difficult to press.

On HTC HD7, setting for notification light and vibation feedback
Use notification light for SMS, MMS, Email instead of screen lighting up, SAVING BATTERY! able to turn on/off vibration feedback when pressing the bottom buttons.

when I connect my phone to PC , I don't want it to be charged.

add an option for automatic switch on and off time like in BB OS
In a current Blackberry device it is possible to set an automatic time, when device shuts itself down and when it boots again. After the boot you just have to enter the PIN Code. Makes battery holding some longer time.

A tile that turns wifi on and off and another one that turns data on and off, with out going to the settings.

turn off while charging
I would really, really appreciate to be able to decide by myself, if the phone is on or off while charging. Going into airplane mode, turning down the volume, and and and, just to be sure I can sleep... and besides it makes me feel like being the ***** of my devices!

More options in Battery Saver!!
Option to automatically lower brightness setting, disable 3G, etc when battery runs low. Also, an option to enable Battery Saver automatically when switched to battery power!!!

An "always on" mode when powered
I use my phone for music in the car. Could we have an "always on" when powered mode (unless manually switched off)? Like the Zune.

Automatic turn off 3G when 3G signal strength is weak - saves battery and improves call quality.
I live in a city that has varying 3G coverage. This results in a high power consumption with 3G turned on.

Option to disable battery low alarm or battery low alert.
There is very distinct audible alert when the battery of the phone is dying (lumia 800).
There is no way to turn it off.I don't want to worry whether my phone is charged or not.
If it is dead, I charge it, when I have time. If it is not, who could care less.
And I want to sleep well.
This alert wakes me up from my sleep way too often (4am where I live right now... guess why I'm here)
The phone is going back to the store unless someone can give me a way to turn it…13 votes -
Option to display basic info on locked AMOLED screens
It would be great if Windows Phone 8 or 7.8 could show some basic information on the locked display (like on the Symbian Nokia AMOLEDs), showing time, date, count of missed calls or received messages etc., with possibility to further configure - what to show (time only, time+date, etc.), size, or option to switch this feature off for people who don´t like it. But having this option is very useful, i loved it on Nokia N8 for example...

Slider to control brightness like an iPod or others
There are only 3 options for brightness and they are extremes or have little difference between. E.g. Low is too low, medium is too high. Medium should be High and another created between Low and Medium
