I have a Dutch WIndows Phone but i can't use the speech recognition/Voice command in my own language.
This is fine by me but as an alternative let me be able to turn on English voice commands.
Like Siri in iPhone is also enabled when iOS is in Dutch but you can still make english voice commands.

This would work by either saying your 4 digit pin or a phrase

Add speech command for traditional chinese and improve Tellme so it can compete with Siri, don't let ifans think that they are unique!!!!

Speach support on phones with swedish settings is missing in all Windows 7 and 8 phones I have been looking to.
Why does phone manufacturers only support english settings, when the suport obviously is a part of the OS?

Windows 8 doesn't have text to speech nor voice regognition support for Finnish language. Would be great to have it, even if as extra cost feature. Bing's text to speech Finnish voice is very good, it sounds more natural than Google's Finnish voice, so would be great to have it in Windows and Windows Phone too.

When someone's calling you, you would be able to answer the call only by saying "answer".

Current wp 7.5 has edge in speech features such as SMS. I would love to use this in dutch language.

My Nokia N8 allowed me to have the phone speak who was calling me. This was very useful when it was in my pocket

Enable that you can manually speak in voice contacts tags. So when someone calls you will hear the Tag you spoke into the phone.

1) Stop being so arrogant - not realizing that there are countries where phone numbers have different lengths. I am sick and bloody tired of having to pad any number I wish to voice dial with digits after it to total 11 digits. If I don't, that "silly woman" in the phone will insert random numbers where "she" thinks it fits. TRUST ME TO KNOW THE LENGTH OF NUMBERS IN MY COUNTRY.

2) When receiving a voice command for calling, given the track record of erroneous interpretation of the voice command - ASK FOR CONFIRMATION before placing the call.

Its almost impossible to use the speech function with an Australian accent. This couldn't be that much effort, apple released a patch for siri within 2 months of being released... we have waited almost 2 years and heard NOTHING.

The speech function doesn't recognize multiple sentences even if you pause between them when voice texting. Frustrating!

Would like to selectively enable toast notifications from other apps, such as Rowi, to be read aloud.
