IE 10 Improvements
Examples of the missing functionality:
- Password support for the IE10
- Forward button for the IE10
- Text reflow for the IE10 so it automatically adjusts and reformats text for easy readability

Please note that several of the suggestions in the original post (ringer volume, orientation lock, etc.) have already been suggested elsewhere and are actively being voted on, so this idea has been consolidated to focus on IE 10 improvements.
To work optimally suggestions should be for a single idea or feature, so if you would like, please reallocate your votes to other suggestions that you feel are most important to you.

Swiping left from home screen should show list of missed text message notifications
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket the other day. After I finished typing, I took it out, and the screen was off.
I turned it on. From the lock screen, I see no text message indicator, so I know I didn’t get a text.
I enter my pin, and the start screen appears. There’s no obvious way to know what caused it to vibrate in the first place. Whatever toast it was, is now gone.
Was it facebook? Was it weatherbug notifying me that it was above 80 in seattle? I’ll never know.It would be nice if…

Under status bar, we need a shortcut to turn on/off connections and Internet sharing
Under status bar, we need the ability to turn on or off the following (when specific icons are clicked) like in WM6.5 (this saves a whole lot of clicks):
- WIFI
- 3G (data connection)
- Bluetooth
- Internet sharing12,146 votes

Blinking LED notification for Missed Calls Email SMS
Display a blinking LED notification when there are missed calls, voicemails, emails, text messages (SMS) etc waiting for you. Also, a blue LED when Bluetooth is on would be a great option. It enables the user to know something is awaiting is attention by just looking at it, without even picking up the phone. No more turning on Power to know what awaits you.

Allow user to disable vibration for the 3 buttons
A possibility to disable the vibration feedback for the three buttons (home, back and search) would be great.

Option to auto silent notifications at night
I think there should be an option in the settings to auto silent notifications at night if the phone would be with the screen facing down. This way you wouldn't have to silent your phone before you go to sleep, the e-mail or sms notifications wouldn't disturb you while sleeping and in case of an emergency you could still receive urgent phone calls.

Set vibration intensity
Allow the user to define the vibration-intensity. On the Lumia 920 it is VERY strong and annoying when calls come in. However the one at startup is nice, so it should be possible to change it.

Changing the app list into a hub, which creates a perfect Notification Center too
The app list is the only place in the whole Windows Phone UI that looks unfinished. Pictures, music, video and people are all hubs; I wonder why the app list isn't a hub while it is a perfect candidate as apps could be categorized into "All", "Popular" (i.e. "Most used" by the user), "Categories" (as in "photo, music, social networking" apps).
Notice the lonely Search button up there in the apps list? Why not bring that down into a toolbar at the bottom of the screen like everywhere else in WP?Also, you could solve the Notification Center problem because…

Make the ring/vibrate toggle button a 3-way option for ring(+vibrate)/vibrate/silent
When the vibrate option is enabled, there are times you may want complete silence without going into the settings to disable it.

STOP exclusive Nokia-ONLY Apps and Features.
People say Android is fragmented.. Because an app that works on one phone may or may not work on another phone - or may not work the same way.
We are bringing this WORST Android feature to Windows Phone. Viber just announced today that their VoIP call feature will be exclusive to Nokia handsets. There are also other apps that are Nokia-only.
It's one thing that device makers tag on apps made by themselves and make it exclusive to their handsets. Its a completely different thing when a 3rd party app developer is bribed into releasing a popular app on…

Repeat Notifications for Missed Call / Voice Mail / Unread Text
I would like the option to have the phone repeat a notification tone for a Missed Call / Voice Mail / Unread Text / etc every few minutes until dismissed. It's frustrating to pick up my phone and realize someone tried to get a hold of me hours ago. I miss this feature from 6.5.

Use the Windows capacitive touch buttons as a "Notification Light"
Use the Windows capacitive touch buttons that all Windows Phones have as a "Notification Light" that blinks when you have a new text message/email or a missed call. That way there's no need to have a separate notification light, which lots of people want.
