A lot of people are just not into bright colors. I would love to see a theme like this concept

screen rotation lock
I love windows phone 8, however I would love to see an option to lock the phone in portrait mode otherwise it is impossible to use when laying down

Introduce Pattern Lock (also called Dot Lock) in addition to numbered lock screen
Replacing or adding Pattern lock or dot lock screen will give Windows Phone an EDGE over others

Voice command + screenshot sounds should obey volume settings
When the system volume is set to 0, and Vibration mode is either on or off, activating the voice command dialog by pressing and holding the Start button makes the normal beeping sound that really shouldn't be heard if the volume is set to 0. The beeping sound does not obey the user's volume settings and seems to have a set volume level. This can be quite troublesome for users, especially at night when individuals tend to want to keep their activities as quiet as possible. The same issue occurs when taking a screenshot by pressing and holding the Start…

Tap top of screen to return to top of scroll list
Just as the iPhone allows you to tap the top of screen in any app and return to the top of a scroll list, Windows Phone should do this to prevent the need of "multiple" flicks to get back to the top of a scrolling list.

Windows phone needs mp3 songs as ringtons without the need of cutting them on my own and not longer than 40 sec. And also the bluetooth.
Windows phone needs mp3 songs as ringtones without the need of cutting them on my own and not longer than 40 sec. And also Object Push Profile (OPP), which lets you send and receive items such as contacts, pictures, and music over Bluetooth through mobile-to-mobile, or mobile-to-computer connections.

Integrate multiple select of items in Windows Phone 7.8
Permit multiple select option for pictures, videos, docs, sms, music, etc.
Allow multiple select on the search result when adding people to group.
Apps should be allowed to select multiple items (ex. pictures) if the apps needs to read/import/manipulate that item (picture/file/whatever).36 votes -
Ability to dim capacitive buttons in Win-Phone 8 (Nokia 920)
I would like to be able to control the light for the capacitive buttons. A lot of people on many forums seem to agree with me that they are annoying to have on while reading or watching a movie in a dark room.
At least, give them a time-feature.36 votes -
Please bring accessibility features of windows 8 to windows 7.8
I think it is highly unfair if Microsoft doesn't bring accessibility features of windows 8 ( text size, screen magnifier etc...) to existing mobile using windows 7.5.
This will ensure that people with low vision can use mobile much easier, without the need for spending extra $500 to buy a windows 8 phone. My father, who is over 50, has 1 lumia 610 mobile, and he often complains that smt the text is too small to read that he has to use glasses.36 votes -

Some very basic features to include in a Windows Phone 7.5 update or for 7.8
I've decided to lump these 10 very basic features in one suggestion because I believe MS can put them all in one update for Windows Phone 7.5 (or hopefully make it to the final build of 7.8).
1. *SMS Drafts folder (to be able to create messages and send them later; to save a message after accidentally pressing the back key)
2. *Week view in calendar
3. Pinch-to-zoom for month view in calendar
4. *Sync for Notes in Outlook (Exchange 2007) and directly in Exchange 2010
5. Add more members for groups in People - maybe 50 to 100?
