Create categories/folders for installed apps

It would be great if there were folders or categories to allow users to find apps easily

I miss that you can't do your own folders in Photos, and also on start screen ...

For a company that has built 2 decade's worth of software on the fundamental notion of the File Explorer, it is ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE this it is not included on Windows Phone (as of a matter of fact, nor in Windows 8's modern UI [formerly known as Metro]). Microsoft, if you do read this, please note that THERE IS NOTHING more UBIQUITOUS than the File Explorer and hence is one of the main reasons people switch from using iOS products to Android products. The File Explorer gives the smart phone, the heart of a PC, and its absence thereof is the reason WHY many have not bought an iPad. Having a digital device without a File Explorer, especially a Microsoft one, is unforgivable and should be corrected immediately.

As the list of apps grows when a way to manage the list. Grouping in categories (music, games, tools, news, sports...) is the best option.

YES PLEASE! I do not want to endlessly scroll down to find an app. Truth is, that you dont always remember the name of the app. So i do not want to scroll down through a sea of "letters" to find the app i want to open. Just let us create folders in which we can put apps into. This ofcourse neednt be said, the created folders MUST also be allowed to be pinned to the start screen.

completely agree. one long list of apps is annoying to have to scroll through.

Or at least allow us to use semantic zoom on the start screen to either switch among start screens (I believe android already supports this) or switch among Tile Groups (kind of like in Windows 8)

If we can get those folders/categories on the start screen that would be awesome, basically some sort of separator so it will help for navigation when you have a long list of apps :D
