They should make swipe up to answer call and swipe down to reject. Or something similar.

i like the idea of answering of Android, You must make gesture to answer and end conversation and accidental touch be face to phone cannot happen in this case

How about answering calls with one of the physical butons? With gloves on, or wet hands, or... well, it would be convenient.

Microsoft make a quick and reply or call answer from lock screen

Another thing I hate about WinPhone after coming from iPhone. On iPhone, I can answer calls and reply to texts from the lock screen. On WinPhone, I first have to unlock and THEN answer the phone. And if I was too slow on a text, I have to drill down to it in order to read/reply. Allow actions from the lock screen, please!

I dont want to swipe on the lock screen and then hit the button to answer a call. I just want to asnwer the call with one gesture.

Windows Mobile/Phone 6.5.3 or older version has simple answering. Either swipe to the right to answer the call or to the left. Windows Phone 7.x, it's a 2 step process. The slider is not consistent. If you are lucky, then the slider moves up :)

This is enough for a feature to irk the users who get too many calls in a day. GET RID OF IT.

@Andrew, if you're too busy to look at the phone when it rings, you don't need to be answering the phone at that point in time. Finish whatever you're doing, then return the call. I doubt you're that important that you have to answer the phone as soon as it rings.

MS- I understand the "slide curtain up" the press to answer. Much like the old physical action of "flip phone open" hit green button to answer. However this is OLD school and DUMB. just give us the screen under the curtain first with the action of answer/ignore on the screen. Then just have us tap and hold ether button choice for a second to finalize action.

MS- These little things are why your losing the race. Give the users the simple feaures and then they will love your bigger ideas. get it togher MS.

Definitely. It's annoying because I keep flicking it up and then expecting the call to be answered when in fact I have to do a separate step.
