  When it came to market, the lumia series was attractting me. Because there is a windows OS that I think will flawlessly integrated with my business need, I want to get a Lumia 520 phone besides my Black Berry. But after knowing that the lumia 520 didn't have a file manager, I think again for buying lumia series. I've used Nokia E series for a long time & I've satisfied with the features on this symbian phone. But with 520, the story is different. Why Nokia & Microsoft didn't add this little feature, the file manager, to the lumia 520? It'll limit my ability to receive & forward email with various types attachments, especially for the file like zip, rar etc. Is it you call a smartphones? Now I think android can fill my needs. Goodbye Nokia...

  Please Please Please provide file explorer to the wp8 update. Common microsoft guys why do you think that people are very happy with not having file manager inside their so called smart phone. So Please include file manager or if you cannt then please let other app developer allow to do develops so.

  When we receive file from any person via mail , what is the use of downloading it to our phone when we cant see where it is stored. Please provide a file manager app soon. This is a basic requirement for a SMART phone i think

  Knowing that it is Microsoft who got us used to folders, copy/paste and other file management features over the years, it is VERY frustrating that they came up with phones with which you can do nothing... :(

  Main reason I never got an iPhone. Main reason I won't get a Windows phone, even though I think the UI is fantastic.

  If Windows phones are to be used professionally, professional tools (a file explorer, a search function) are a must.

  Have used windows phones for a long time and always had a file manager. If WP8 doesn't get an update to add it it is my last WP.
