What a shame. Can't add 3 mobile numbers to my contacts.
Gotta get back to Android, then. -

How is that feature available? By adding a Mobile 2? Is this a joke? Seriously? With all due respect, that's simply ridiculous. Microsoft, please fix this, please!! This is a Mobile Operating System, it has to allow the user to save all its friends mobile phone number. Most of our contacts nowadays have at least two mobile phone numbers, this limit is already beaten.

This feature is now available in Windows Phone 8. LOL of course because two is multiple. All right I move my vote to "Allow unlimited mobile number to a contact" and "Allow custom label for phone numbers" I still use an Android.

Mobile and Mobile 2 are not really multiple. Please, reopen the item.

This feature is still not available in WP8. I just bought a Lumia 920 yesterday and I am still limited to two (2) mobile numbers per contact. Microsoft, please remove this limitation of preset fields. Users should be able to label the contact numbers as they like..

You still have to memorize all of their names because it will not let you use categories that are in office outlook.
Will this be fixed soon? Or must I go back to andriod. -

Please re open this issue...This HAS NOT been completed...We want a seamless way of putting anything anywhere in our contacts...Why these limitations?

@Mobile Guru
Why is this mark as "Completed"?
Mobile 1 and Mobile 2, Contact fields are still available in People Hub across, Outlook.com, Outlook 2013 and Windows Phone 8.
At Build 2012 you guys announced that you added custom fields on Windows Phone 8, which is great, but totally different from what we are talking about here.
Mobile 1 and Mobile 2 needs to get face out, along with Home 1 and Home 2 or Work 1 and Work 2.
We need to have as many numbers we want label as "Mobile" or "Home" or Work", as many "Email" etc we want.
Can you please clarify?

Not a lot of use as my phone can't run Windows 8. Typical Microsoft, can't do consistent development. Absolutely useless

"now available in WP8": does this mean that MS have actually updated ActiveSync to allow for additional &/or custom fields, since this is the primary cause of the issue (but I've not seen or heard anything about this from Exchange / Outlook 2013 previews)?
Or, does it just allow the ability locally on the phone to add an extra mobile # that then won't sync to any of your actual accounts (since they almost certainly use ActiveSync) - in which case I don't believe anyone will actually agree that this request is closed at all!
