I used to be an axtremely loyal MS fan, but after using the Lumia 920 for 4 months now, I am so frustrated with this small non-feature. I have promised myself never to get a Windows phone again. This is a feature requested long before Mango, but they are just not listening to their customer base.

Really debating returning my WP8. Update the market too. Get at least the top 20 apple has. Like Instagram and Vine, two very popular apps.

Just evaluating WP8 on Lumia 920. No screen rotation lock? No deal! The lack of such a no brainer feature has put me off WP8 altogether.

Can't compete if even the most basic features are missing. Orientation lock... how difficult is that to code? Give me a day's worth of one of your in house programmers and I'd be able to code this in under 1 hour. You people are just lazy

Is it so hard to fix this tiny issue?its totally ridiculous and unacceptable to ignore such a basic function time over time. I am in a very good manner to say I am surprised to find it still hasn't been fixed after recently major update. Please fix it

A side-swipe at the very bottom of the screen (right to left or left to right, depending on how landscape is being held) that would rotate the screen would be great, similar to a Windows 8 Start screen. Shortcuts (assuming they get implimented--i.e. Bluetooth, WiFi, Airplane, Sounds on/off) would be a swipe down, and the applications screen would be a swipe up with four or five apps listed, scroll right to see more of the list in alphabetical order (first ten characters of next-swipe apps viewable on the right of the screen).
