My 900 supports as well.
So this is NOT a win 7.5/8 thing at all. -

All Windows Phone 8 devices? Or just a subset?

This bothered me for the longest time in my HD7 so finally i flashed a custom rom that had registry editing unlocked and gues what.. it's a single value in the registry to fix this issue. SINGLE **** value! This was turned off on purpose and they ask us now to buy a new phone with WP8??? Beyond shameless... Oh, and btw. it's the same thing with the bt audio quality on HTC devices - single value to fix...

Ah, I see... So WP 7.5 users can go to hel......iport and buy a brand new device, to have function which should have been there in a first place?
Well, I am very not suprised. :-D I am leaving the WP platform, it has caused me nothing but grief, frustration and pain. I have tried... God knows I gave it nearly two years to fix issues with bluetooth, WiFi, marketplace, LED light, nationality switch and yes, most of them were fixed.
But this approach is driving me to Android OS. I will NOT wait another two years for the not fixed bugs to be fixed. This is it for me. Done. Customer lost, end of frustration. Period. What a relief! :) -

I have a HTC Titan 2. Not too long ago I was having this issue but in past week it started working. I had a support case open with HTC but they could not explain why it started working. Quite a mystery but wherever the case I’m happy. ;)

Fact is the feature is supported right now by the OS, but its up to the oem to use it and it seems Nokia are the only ones using windows phone fully. The others are being quite half measured.
Its not good situation but for now as far as I know it works on Nokia Lumia.

**** it. Don't make me buy an expensive new phone to support something that should have been there from the get-go. It outputs the audio, it should output the audio to all audio devices. Bluetoobz headphones are audio devices. Want me to spend more time displaying my phone to the other passengers on the bus, and not the iPad - make it possible for me to watch videos on the phone as easily as the iPad, and I will. Screen size not important on bus, in fact smaller screen often better.

Very important. Right now this is the biggest thing that I complain about on a usability basis. I have to carry around a bluetooth dongle for a device that "does bluetooth" - how absurd is that?
Or I have to carry a separate headset with wires for when I'm watching video. I understand the physical practicalities that require a wire for listening to the radio (or "wireless", as my parents refer to it), but there appears to be no statement as to why video can't be listened to over the bluetubes. -

I love watching video when I have to sit and wait, without this feature I am forced to carry around a wired headset. Functionality wise Windows Phone is generally better (if you ignore annoyances like this) but seriously lacking with applications. I moved to Android today. Hopefully in a couple years when my new contract is over Microsoft will have caught up. We will see. Btw- I’m already annoyed with Android but it was worth it having access to more apps… sigh.

This feature is available in all mobile paltoforms leave alone droid and iPhone. Its also available in WinMo6. Its really a shame that we dont have such a basic functionality on WP7

I have a bluetooth enabled headunit. Would be awesome if I could watch youtube on my phone and hear it through my car speakers!

Audio should work for all applications like slingbox and other video applications. Its dissapointing that i have to plug in my visio stereo bluetooth headset.

That's easy to figure out... unfortunately editing the registry is not possible on many devices... now if you have a suggestion on that I would love to hear it.

When they descrive "Bluetooth A2DP settings" you look carefully into registry settings there. One of them is responsible for a2dp during video playback with is disabled by default. If you enable it, you getting video with sound in bluetooth headphones.
