Why is it so hard for Microsoft to give its consumers what they want. We should not have to beg and plead in forums for things that should be elementary. Is it too much to ask for Microsoft point usage on windows phone. How about useful apps like Amazon MP3, iheartradio, Instagram, Uniden Guardian, Lord of The Dragons, Voxer, Trulia, Zedge???? How hard would those apps be??? You would have happier customers and probably more people adopting the Windows Phone movement instead of wanting to leave.

Truly a missing feature that causes a lot of frustration on customers I have 4 windows phones for my family and it's frustrating not being able to buy a points card for my kids. I'm seriously thinking to choose another phone (android or iphone) next time.

Microsoft, please stop this nonsense. More and more people are getting frustrated with Windows 8. Microsoft points need to be used across all Windows platforms. it only makes sense.

And please make the possibility to buy just with the PayPal Money without a credit card needed.

please get this done, I wanna buy a windows phone and this is a huge drawback for me..

There is no way I am using my credit cards to purchase a game for two dollars with interest added on its not worth it. I pay enough per month just to keep the phone working I don't want to add even more. We should be able to use the points on our phones too. The money is going to the same place either way. Just seems easier with a points card

seriously why can't MS do this? It's Xbox content! The achievements show up on your gamerscore, so why can't you use those useless left over points to buy apps and games on your WP? Also I can't believe you have to pay twice to play a game on your phone that you already bought for your console. That is just greedy.

Hello I want to say I found payment for Microsoft points just by getting the app which I want to buy an then select change option to Microsoft gift card but wen I use to Microsoft point that I bought it said is not in valid an i want to know why is it not working.

I do not want to use my credit card to buy apps. Is there really no Windows card similar to an iTunes card that I can use on a Windows Phone or Surface?

Ive always got a few points left over after i buy something on xbox and so theyre pretty useless cuz i cant buy apps with them
Come on Microsoft you can do better than this.

STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard of. This is why Apple kicks Microsoft's *** and can truly claim "it just works".

With the Microsnot Store, they are copying Apple. If they are going to TRULY copy Apple, the points should work for apps, and everything else Microsoft sells.

They can't even copy Apple right.

Not to mention the 45 hoops you have to jump through to get the points, only to find they don't work on Windows Phone.

Insipid, stupid, and the most ridiculous business model in tech.

I don't know why they haven't got this feature if there trying to compete with iTunes and apple there going the wrong way sure you can buy apps with your credit/debit cards and PayPal but everyone wants a pre paid gift card to purchase apps for many reasons like so they can keep track of how much they spend and don't exceed there limit which would be easy to do if the money was coming directly out of there bank account and another reason is teenagers who have these phone wouldn't have credit/debit cards or PayPal therefore unable to purchase these app and Microsoft loses money and customers I hope this changes in the near future

PLEASE DO! There are so many benefits to having this. I know there are a lot of comments pertaining to this, but seriously. Apple did it right. They let you use iTunes cards to buy apps and all sorts of stuff. While I really despise Apple, that is one good thing they did that Microsoft should follow after with MP's.
