  It would be nice to have the option of renaming a pdf file once it's already on the phone without having to upload it to a cloud drive (which I don't want to do when the information is more sensitive)

  this would be awesome, even if you partitioned the internal memory with an accessible-through-usb partition and a non-accessible-through-usb partition if you are worried about the integrity of certain files. or if you want to avoid plugging it into the computer for that, let it share files via a media server on the device over wifi
