There are apps you can download that will give you direct access to the settings pages for WiFi, BT, Cellular, Airplane mode, etc.

This feature is still not available on Omnia 7 (WP 7.5)!
(As I understand, developers just got an option to jump to the settings. Wifi can't be switched on/off by clicking a live tile.)

This is not available natively in the OS. However, Mango has enabled this functionality via 3rd party apps.

how is possible to have the wifi and bluetooth on/off directly as a tile in the home? i was not able to find in on my WP 7.5

@622208 - It works well, huh? Really? What convoluted mind wants a separate tile for each setting? How about just one tile which, when clicked, displays an overlay containing only the settings you want in there?

I'm not sure how the API works but if it doesn't developers to aggregate multiple toggles into a screen (again, preferably using an overlay), which are accessible via a single title, then this feature is still NOT available in Windows Phone 7.5

There is an app called Network Dashboard that does exactly this. I use it and it works very well. Shows you what is currently on and off on tiles on the home screen. This is however NOT baked into the OS itself.

This is completed in WP 7.5 by allowing developers the use of new APIs to directly jump to settings. Try, for example, the WP Shortcut Tiles free app. I am pretty sure more apps like this will come.

I hope more people vote for this... it's such a needed feature. I hate having to scroll through settings just to toggle WIFI, Bluetooth, Airplane mode, etc... There are apps that allow you to pin individual settings tiles to the home screen, but this is an awful solution, as it would case almost an entire page of dead tiles just for settings.

In an ideal world, there would be a customizable number of settings which one could combine and pin to the home screen under ONE tile. Tapping that tile would then open an overlay of toggles for the settings which could easily be dismissed by tapping outside the overlay (or perhaps on a little x/close button). SBSettings on iOS is a perfect example of this. Please MS, I'm begging here!

It is possible to put everything as a tile to the front screen. Why not providing a quick access to preferences like airplane mode, wifi, bluetooth etc.
