  Microsoft, Please add a Repeat Notification for Missed/Unread Test Messages.... I know everyone has their own reasons for requesting... Mine? Well, It's the lady in my life. I bought this Windows 8 Phone two weeks ago and have missed probably a dozen text messages simply because I was used to my old samsung reminding me of a missed text message/unread text message every 2 minutes until i read it, (I could have missed it while i was in the shower or stepped out to check the mail, etc.,) of course she does understand its not my lack of attention but when she texts me and i miss the message and I'm simply doing other things... I can understand how she might be upset if a few hours goes by. MICROSTOFT.... I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHECK MY PHONE EVERY MINUTE OR TWO TO SEE IF I RECEIVED A MESSSAGE.... PLEASE FIX THIS WITH A SOFTWARE UPGRADE OR SOMETHING...
  From an otherwise happy 1st time user of the Windows 8 Phone. However, if you cant fix this. My loyalty will end with this experience next time i'll choose a different brand.... Just saying... after all... in this technological age this should have been a fundamental part of the software on your phone... its a communication device after all.
  I really need this feature.

  I just moved to iPhone from HTC 8X due to lack of the SMS reminder. Even dumb phones have this feature. I will never buy a Win Mobile again until this feature is "reinstated"

  Please PLEase PLEASE! deliver this as an App, and NOT as an O/S upgrade. Those of us with 8X's on Verizon will probably not see the much needed Portico update until summer of 2013, and may never see a second O/S upgrade. Windows Phone sales are being lost every day, and Verizon sales staff are increasingly guiding customers away from WP8 because of things like the Bluetooth issue. It is now clear that in the smart phone ecosystem, delivering functionality through an O/S upgrade is turning out to be the WORST possible method of delivery. It places the carrier in control, not Microsoft, and not customer base. Microsoft MUST find a way around this roadblock if you are going to really compete, and not just have a presence in the smart phone space (which is rapidly becoming the next personal computer space).

  Need significant granularity to adjust missed message notification with audio-visual-vibrate including repeat frequency with independant settings for SMS, calls, email.

  Where do you access this feature in the Windows 7.5 phone. I have a ZTE Render. Even the support tech couldn't help me.

  Having to go through every single apps just to check its notification is not a great experience..

  This feature is critical for me. When I'm on call and I get a text message (which is how my on-call notifications come) I need this to wake me up. One ring is not enough. This really is basic functionality. Especially with the ringtones not being customizable. I used to use the star trek red alert for my iPhone and THAT would wake up. The ones available for text message on WP8 are just not loud enough. Please add this feature. I can't imagine it's that big of a deal.

  RIDICULOUS. Just got Lumia 800 and no notification reminders, this renders the phone useless to me. Dont know if i could put up with it. Might have to go back to my xperia play.
  I mean i got a message and call from my manager today and i only knew about it around 4 hours later. This is a totally stupid problem.

  REALLY? I cannot find the option and neither can the device manuf support.
