Blinking LED notification for Missed Calls Email SMS
Display a blinking LED notification when there are missed calls, voicemails, emails, text messages (SMS) etc waiting for you. Also, a blue LED when Bluetooth is on would be a great option. It enables the user to know something is awaiting is attention by just looking at it, without even picking up the phone. No more turning on Power to know what awaits you.
When we receive messages ,other instant messages or miss calls, the windows key light can be desigin as a breath light.
Use the center button serves as LED notification when a message arrives.
Thanks for your missed calls suggestion. Always great to see such great feedback and excitement about this feature and while we didn’t implement this exactly this way, we have made it possible for device manufacturers to deliver notifications without having to wake the phone up. For example, Nokia’s Glance screen shows you time and missed notifications without having to wake the phone up.
how about Windows logo act like a notification led
we all know that it can blink(when we charge, and the phone is turned off)

Missed call reminder has much more votes scattered in other similar suggestions... this should be a priority... Android phones had it for a long time... It is a must for the busy professional.

LED notification in Windows Logo
I think use LEDs of touch keys(back, start, search) for notifications is great...
Because it's 3 LED
Also the Calendar is almost useless with reminders that play just once..
Ok, so here's an example of why 'But you guys have the Glance Screen' doesn't actually acknowledge the real issue...
Glance Screen only allows 5 (tiny) notifications, where as say, if i set a Cortana Reminder or something that can't be set as a Notification Icon, it's very easily missed.
A Cortana 'reminder' for example will light up the screen for literally a few seconds, and then blank it again. If you're not in the room, or in an environment where you don't see or hear the Notification, that's it...you've missed it.
The only chance of seeing it? Having to turn your Phone on to check. Hardly convenient, especially so since you've now missed the reminder.
Without an LED, your Handset essentially acts like nothing has happened leaving the User blissfully unaware of Messages, Reminders, and various other events.
This is a flaw in WP Handsets that needs to be acknowledged, not ignored.

Come on MS....
I don't know if this would work but if a phone has an Amoled screen, Could the notification be made up of a cluster of screen pixels as they only need to be powered rather than the whole screen.
Glance is great, but a poor substitute for a multi-colour customizable LED.
Glace is tiny static icons which aren't the most noticeable things in the world.
A multi-colour LED though is easily noticeable, and could be colour customized for Contacts, Apps and Calendar Events.
When i've got a decade old 'dumb' phone that handles Notifications better than my Windows Phone, that says this area is very lacking on the platform.
Please put this

Voted, please vote for handoff calling between WP and Windows like Mac OS X Yosemite & iOS8.
Led notification light for missed calls messages is a badly missing feature. How about using the windows home button. This was used when charging battery from dead .
What a good idea. I had to change from a Nokia 520 to a 625 (due to inactive button issues) and really want a 930. But the current tiny SMS alert length is so miss able even with custom tones (which I love). I had no idea the recent update would shorten the tone whilst letting me download my favorite tune! Annoying!

YES! I work in a noisy construction environment and can't always hear the phone go off. One of the BlackBerry features I miss.
For who has phone always in vibra
i guess blinking is NOT POSSIBLE. instead, the whole SCREEN should get ON,now it just sounds on alerts for email and msgs.
por favor ponerle las luces led para notificar las cosas como llamadas mensajes bateria baja etc harían del celular espectacular
Unless Microsoft require all OEMs to include an LED in their products, I can't see this one being a priority anytime soon. My old 8X has LEDs but my new Lumia 930 does not and also does not support Glance so where does that leave me?
This is BADLY needed. Peek is wonderful but we need the notification light. The Windows softkey would be great for that purpose.
