This should work like the 'share' option in IE that allows you to send a website to the Xbox.

Windows Phone 8 sorely needs a DLNA implementation lik ewindows 8 has built into the Devices charm. A good idea would be to expand the "Share" feature to include detected DLNA devices.

Needs to be integrated so all apps can take advantage of this. Other nice-to-haves:
- Server, so media can be served by the phone
- Client, so the phone itself can play media from a server -

DLNA should be integrated in the OS. That we could stream music, videos, youtube to a tv like the airplay function in ios.

I have DLNA playback ability with my Nokia Lumia 710 and my 800. I don't know if other manufactures will provide support but if not I'm sure someone could just write an app that would do it.

Luckily Lumia 900 just added this app, I suspect there are other WP devices and apps for DLNA as well...

DLNA should be baked into the OS much like it is baked into Windows 7. In Windows 7 it is extremely easy (2 clicks) to setup your device as a DLNA media server.
On WP7 you can get the app oneShare to use your phone as a media player (you can stream to your phone) but the phone can't act as a media server with this. And the software UI/UX is subpar.
DLNA should be a 1 to 2 tap feature anywhere in the OS to be a server or player

Need to be able to consume media from DLNA sources, not just push content to DLNA receivers. SmartShare does the latter but not the former.
