Allow pasting in the phone dialer
Please consider allowing the users to "paste" a phone number that was copied in an email or an SMS in the phone dialler. I receive phone numbers via email or sms and I have to memorize them before I can dial the number. You can do this copy-paste in Android and its extremely useful.
Thanks for your suggestion for the phone dialer. Always great to see such great feedback and novel suggestions. While we can’t promise to ship every suggestion that gets submitted, we will be sure that our product development team receives your feedback. What’s another great idea? Keep those votes coming!

better even if it will be possible, when clicking and holding a number, in the drop down menu that opens, have an option "make phone call" to save the time of copying, switching to phone, and pasting the number

One work around is to copy the SMS messaged that has the phone number you want to copy and then past it back as an SMS reply. Don't send the pasted reply just tape on the phone number in the reply field and it will let you copy it so it can be pasted into the phone dialer.

That feature was the most useful on my old Nokia from early days.... MS implement it... don't forget... first it's "phone" and then "smart"

Microsoft will end support for Windows Phone 8 and 7.8 in the second half of 2014. A total of 18 months of support, and that period has of course already begun, as both operating systems are shipping on various hardware. Support for WP8 will end first, on July 8th, 2014, while 7.5 "Mango" will hit the end of the road on September 9th of that year

Whenever I get a phone number texted to me, I just touch the number and it takes me to a screen where I can call or save to a contact. Worked this way in WP7.5 and now in WP8.

This feature already exists (well, it does on Windows Phone 8, not sure about 7). When you have something copied, go into the dialer and bring up the number pad, then press the "paste" button that's sitting there above the numbers
