Browser bookmark sync
There's no way to synchronize bookmarks and there's no developer APIs to enable this. iTunes allows for local bookmark sync with IE or Safari with the iPhone/iPad or you can sync with a cloud service.
I do use both Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, and both are tied with my Microsoft account. I'm surprised to see the synchronisation does not synchronize internet explorer favorites between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. Please include this in a further version. The synchronisation should include :
- update favorites on Windows Phone 8 to reflect what is been created on the desktop, including the folders (and those should be added in Metro UI for Windows 8 as well)
- update favorites on Windows 8 should allow to reflect the favorites added in Windows Phone 8 on the go.
Alternatively, favorite folder would be on the skydrive and accessible similarly to the document folder when connected to a PC on USB, or included in the skydrive folders.
Ability to sync bookmarks from IE 10 to live.com then be able to pull those down to your WP7 phone and vice versa.
Be nice to have favorites backed up so if you get a new device they automatically sync back like contacts.

This should be synced with your other bookmarks on Windows 8.x.
With the ability to set the folders you want to sync so you don't get all the bookmarks on your phone. That way you could also make a folder for just the bookmarks on the phone, but still manage them on your PC.
Because na Microsoft are being stupid, I can sync my favourites across Windows 8.x devices but cannot do the same with Windows Phone and have to retype them if a Windows Phone device fails
not good Microsoft
I can synch Firefox bookmarks across pc, phone and tablet. Why cant i do this in windows phone with Firefox or IE or Chrome?
My favorites sync across all my win8 devices, how about syncing them to my phone as well via Skydrive or my Microsoft account?
syncing through SkyDrive like now it is on desktop IE is just what we need

Sync between IE10 (W8) and WP8 - please make it available. It would be a valid argument for use of IE10 on W8 - at least for WP8 owners!

Bookmark/favourite sync is one feature I've missed since switching from Android to WP8.
Even a favorites sync would be great here. Also, if they don't already your Bing stats (points, searches, etc). Not really advanced but this feature would definitely be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you know, this is one massive problem I have with Windows 8 and IE in general. I use chrome for it's excellent sync capability.
Either Microsoft should invite Google to make chrome app for WP8 which personally I think they should do or they include a similar sync function. Of course I would not want to have to use a Microsoft account on every PC, instead this should also be built into IE on the desktop as a separate or integrated feature.

I want this feature too, I've read that Internet Explorer 11 WILL allow certain synchronization, but there's no mention of Windows Phone, yet :-(

I agree, this is the only feature of android that i am missing. With this feature I can finally move away from google

Yes complete favourite sync between PC, phone, Surface and Xbox. Otherwise not much of an ecosystem.

Just to be clear about what I feel is missing: Since moving my W8 Favorites folder to SkyDrive I am able to see my W8 Favorites on my WP8 using the WP8 SkyDrive app. But when I select a favorite in SkyDrive on WP8 it displays the URL rather than invoking the browser as I expect/want. J

Sync Favorites and Browsing History. Should be seamless transition between PC and Windows Phone.

I agree and would be perfect if you'll can find your favorites also online, in outlook.com or skydrive for example (or new service)
yes yes yes
I went from blackberries in house to WP8 because I upgrade all our home computers to windows 8 and I thought this eco system existed with the phones the same as we have between computers at home. disappointing!
