rSAP Support
Win Mobile 6/x and Android support rSAP, why is Mango/WP7 being left behind?

this is a huge opportunity to position WP8 against iOS and non Samsung-Android phones. Incredible that you can not grasp the potential of adding this bluetooth profile in Windows Phone. Nokia always used to have this feature in the past on Symbian, and I am quite certain this was a huge benefit for many business users driving German manufactured cars with Bluetooth connectivity.

Please consider implementing rSAP in the WP8 Bluetooth stack.
Without rSAP, we will not further consider WP8 or any Nokia Lumia.
There are more people out there relying on rSAP than you probably are aware of... Until it's implemented in WP8, we will stay with Samsung Galaxy phones. -

Just purchased windows Nokia 8 phone which does not support rSAP, so will be sending back and will purchase a Android or Apple phone that does, strange having a basic blue tooth feature missing, maybe because Microsoft are PC experts not mobile which are not mature enough regarding drivers but then again they have been in the mobile market longer than both the others?

After some test with Lumia 920 my decission is:
Don't buy it if you want to use your phone in your car!!!!
Synchronisation with Windows tools is o.k. but similar mobile functions doesn't work (rSAP connection not possible - a "MUST" for BUSINNESS customers), Videocall doesn't work, call forwarding from addressbook entries not possible etc.
In my mind only 5% are developed from Nokia. The big Master of development is Microsoft and these company have no feeling from mobile devices.
If rSAP comes back to Windos Phone Maybe I come back to Nokia but now I chance to Samsung Galaxy - sorry. -

Dear wise gurus at MS. Did it ever occur to you, that business users currently who need rSAP and want an up-to-date smartphone must rely on either BB (rSAP support built in) or Android with jailbreaks and rSAP add-on - which typically is not very attractive to business users. Your preferred partner Nokia has extensive rSAP know-how. Why not using it and offering rSAP, hence attracting all those business users waiting for a real alternative to BB? Btw, in case this is news for you: business users tend to use top-of-line phone modells!

The missing rSAP is a reason for me to give back my WP8 device to the Company and order an Android. Sorry MS, but if you do not listen to the users .... :-(

Now I'm using a Nokia N8 with excellent connection to my Mercedes-Cap via rSAP.
Now I want to replace my phone by a new Nokia Windows phone, but there is no rSAP.
Sorry, but in this case I will not buy a new Nokia. Instead I will have to look for another phone with rSAP. -

Is this issue already outstanding since september 2011 ? Pathetic .
There is no way anyone can recommend a windows phone to a person that has a car . And many people have cars ..

After the recent update on 920 now my car is syncing the Address book fully with the phone, month ago this didn't work and I could only receive/make calls, not sure if rSAP has been enabled with the update. Could someone verify this please.

After using actually a Nokia E75, I wanted to upgrade to the Lumia 920. As I found out, that this new device has no rSAP, my desicion to change is still open.
I need definitively the rSAP protokoll for using the mobile with my hands-free-device in SKODa Superb II, similar to RNS510-System by VW.
If Nokia Lumia and Microsoft WP8 aren't able to solve this issue quickly, I have no other possibility as to change to competitor solutions. Sorry. -
