  All Facebook notifications aren't managed into the me tile. For instance groups post or events invitation aren't shown there.
  The ms fb app is too much buggy. Doesn't work most of the time.
  So yes, please.. Integrate notifications.

  This is already a feature in Windows Phone so idiots stop voting for this.

  Both twitter and Facebook do this. You have to go under the settings of both apps in order to find it. By default it is off

  It doesn't work 100% of the time and it is puzzling but it is there.

  I think the Me tile should be extended to all 3rd party developers so that any notifications can be added there.

  the fb app is rubbish the push notifications and toast hardly ever work really frustrating. so yes either integrate or sort the app out!

  That video is a bad comparison. He didn’t get any notifications because he didn’t install a twitter app. Tiles and toasts are how notifications are handled not notifications in the me tile that just an alternate way to view of your social data in the me app.

  The Twitter application does not update the live tile when I received a direct message, or when the people I'm following post tweets. This is quite unpleasant.
  Also I would like to be able to configure how often my phone will check for updates on Twitter and Facebook.

  You can this functionality if you install the Facebook app and enable notifications, but it'd be better baked-in, since so much other Facebook functionality is.

  Agreed. Needs toaster notifications for all notifications like the app but intergrated in wp7.

  I really need this feature, ANDROID and iPhone really good at this, and WP just became a dummy phone if this feature is not available

  also in Fourth and Mayor, FourSquare would be cool, like when friends check in places like the iPhone/Android versions do.
