  +1 But only if the notifications go away if you don't have the Me tile pinned. I would get way too many toast notifications.

  I've to use another App which offers toast for Twitter & Facebook at the moment. That really sucks!

  just wait for the me tile to flip and you see notifications; for those of us who don't want the clutter of notifications for such frequent things, if this is implemented please make it an optional setting ;-)

  I think it's still not clear what I mean: there are notifications on the Me tile, but you aren't informed if there's a new one. Of course you can take a look at your home screen and wait until the tile flips over, but I would like to see a toast (like with texts) to pop up to inform me about a new one immediately.

  The Facebook toast notification is linked to the Facebook app. I think we're talking about message notifications in WP7.5 with the new messaging hub, independent of the Facebook app. I like the idea of notifications staying around and not disappearing if you don't catch them right away, whether Facebook, SMS/MMS, eBay (app based toasts arrive like FB's), etc. Also should have option to turn on or off any of these, along with email and other integrated features, like Twitter.

  Having the option to have Twitter mentions and Facebook notification on the Lock Screen would be great also.

  These notifications are already on the me tile in Mango.

  Yes, toast notification real life time on the Me Tile... i don't know how ios or adroid does it but they're notification seem to be very fast and even the facebook app takes a couple minutes to get you notified...

  Completely agree with this, the Facebook app is terrible and I never use it, notifications from the Me tile would allow me to completely uninstall the Facebook app.

  YES! This was the first thing that I thought once I started using the Me/People hub for Twitter and Facebook!

  I love not having to use a FB or Twitter client now!

  no flip over twice in the me tile and it shows notifications in mango anyway
