Speech command that tells you the time

Say something like "What is the time" and have the time said to you.

        No thanks. Click the power button and it quietly shows me without disturbing those around me. If you're alone no worries, but more important enhancements abound. Just because you can do something doesn't mean we should

        Yes this is a good idea, many times i have been listening to earphones with phone in pocket and wanted to know the time, i should be able to press the voice button on headphones and say TIME, and have the phone tell me the time.

        I would love to have my alarm announce what the alarm is about. Also, having a caller id which announces the caller's name would be a nice option. Not new or rocket science, but for situations where you can't readily reach for the handset, or are too busy, this is indispensable.

        I agree here. Also being able to ask "what's the weather like today?" and have the phone read you the temperature and if it's sunny or going to rain...

        Indeed usful with the handsfree bluetooth profile when phone is in pocket or car.

        good idea, expand capabilities for hearing- and otherwise impaired individuals through speech commands.
