This seems to have been fixed, now we need to let developers access the video library. YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, WhatsApp, etc, could all be improved if they were able to access the video file. We can't upload unless the 3rd party app records the video and then directly uploads. Not good.

It's a shame that I have this great camera with video recording, but I can't really share it with my social networks.

you will never be able to sent video/photo/sound via SMS...
but there is a way it's called MMS...
and about quality it's have to be poor it meant to be a fast delivered message

actually on windows phone 8, I couldn't send a video even via email. basically, there's no possible way to share videos other than facebook. you can't even upload them to youtube per se. I'm using Lumia 920 on at&t

So no saying android is better on this its not the delivery report is, it should be like android integrated on the conversation balloon

Guys I have a lumia 800 with the latest update I can send video photos and and on 1 message that's the truth

A lot of Android phones don't do this either. I have a galaxy s2 and it won't send video's via text. They want you to switch to a different mode when you tape so that it can be sent via text, but the quality is so incredibly poor, you can hardly see what is going on. I am confused as to why these newer 'smart' phones can't do this but my crapy palm pixi could do it?

I love this. I've had the phone 12 hours and every complaint I have is already right here in this page. I too want to send video via SMS

I bought a Palm phone with WebOS in the fall of 2010, but that phone has so many elegant features that today, in 2012, the Windows Phone still doesn't have--like sending videos in a text message, which I often do. Too bad WebOS died, because it will be hard to let go of!

Please add this feature to Window Phones! It is so frustrating not being able to send video. I pull my phone out, ready to snap a video, and then remember.. "****, nevermind, I can't send it to (blank) anyways!" I don't understand why this feature is not compatible with Window Phones, especially seeing as how every non-smartphone/smartphone I've owned in the past allowed me to send MMS video.

Microsoft will ultimately see their phones shunned do to their proprietary stubbornness of not allowing certain features all cellphone users have come to respect and expect as a given. It started with their ringtone limitations and has continued with the mms limitations, file transfers, media player constraints, and inability to see directories and files when docked. People should once again demand customer service and jump ship if unresolved ...PERIOD!

Video and Voice MMS is coming with Tango. Patience and it will be here :D

Yes, this is a gaping hole. We should definitely be able to send MMS from Windows Phone. I used to send audio only messages (singing happy birthday) with my WinMobile device, now my WinPhone seems like a downgrade in this regard.

With front facing cameras, sending a quick video message via MMS would be an added benifit.

i've gotten my mother and girlfriend WP7 devices...and I hard time explaining to them why this feature doesn't exist...Especially when we can receive video MMS. We need to be able to Save video MMS's, and we need to be able to create them. Period.

Please add this feature I mean a lot of my older phones could send video via MMS. Plus I have some special occasion videos I would love to send out to my family living out of state.

This is my first smart phone and I can not believe you can not send a video in MMS. My old phone would at least do that and it was a dumb phone.Fix this please!

I will NEVER get another Windows phone if the option is not made available to send videos to another phone. Im thinking about paying full price now just to get one that HAS this feature...which is EVERY OTHER phone Ive ever heard of!!!
