Please provide a close mark (x) on top right of background apps (apps in press and hold back button) to close it there itself

Add to this a way to close down all running apps. I like manage my own memory sometimes and close down all the apps...since they have a quick restart anyways

there's privacy issues without this for web sites you've visited and while I can see why the system can cope without it its really annoying to not be able to choose the applications I WANT open, it would be easy to do and the people who don't care can stay as they are and those of us who want it can rejoice with using it when we want; the OS has such joy but it these things it feels rough round the edges

this is a key feature for apps that will no exit or close. We should be allowed to kill apps from the multitask view.

@Tristan Dyer: you're dumb and your ideas are dumb. Programs hang, and when they do you kill them. Welcome to computers.

Considering how WP actually works, this is very minor, it is really just a list of the last 5 open apps that you can fast resume to.

The idea that you need to manually manage what apps are open is ludicrous. Only Android would make you care and make you micro-manage this aspect.

This is a must either that or a X button to close them in multitasking like in windows 7

Vote for windows for current devices..... Its just an advice....

      • ankitankit commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Giving votes to these features is useless unless we get an update and since Microsoft has declared that current devices won't get upgrade of wp8 i.e. Apollo these suggestions are useless for us.....

Dear friends cast your votes for something that really matters

This would be a very natural way to close apps, please implement the feature...

      • MKMK commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate
