Control Music With Voice Commands
Would love to be able to start playing music directly with my voice via a command like "Play Music Eminem - Not Afraid"

I use my phone in the car. It is dangerous without voice commands! Microsoft is all about forcing me to get a car with their computer system already in the car. That is how they work... Oh, you got a new WP8. Now you need to upgrade to Windows 8 OS or you won't have access to Xbox Music (the web version lacks functions).
And with videos

Still want this feature but the Hey DJ! app does this so I'm moving my votes on to other things.

Isn't this the whole point of their Ford Sync setup? Leverage some code peeps. :)
We have this feature on Xbox why not on windows phone too
Surprised it's not baked in but get the app Hey DJ! it does exactly this and works awesome.
Might be one step closer:
Wish it was built in though.
This is the one feature I desperately miss after switching from IOS! Never even thought to read up on it when deciding to switch to WP7, just assumed it was a no-brainer feature!
@Rob7 yeah! I totally miss that.
During Mango Beta asked if even just 1 extra voice command of 'Play music' do the default music play option within Zune hub, but would be even better to have much more voice control over the integrated music features of the phone.
Especially important when if you've got a Zune subscription you're likely using WP as your main source of in car music where hands free is a safety not just nice to have/cool feature.
This is a most have....comoing people, is not that diffucult to do.

The Voice -> Text recognition is already good enough to make this happen; somebody at MS just needs to implement the keywords. I was severely disappointed when I tried "Play Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones"--the phone recognized the words perfectly but (since the "Play" keyword isn't implemented) then stupidly decided that what I really wanted was to just dump the phrase into a Bing search.
I would be willing to pay an extra $5 to have this working...it's that important.
Desparately need basic voice commands to control music in the following way:
Play "playlist name"
This would be great for when I'm cycling to work. It's a 20 mile ride on country roads and constantly having to fiddle with my phone just to press "Next track" is kind of annoying ;)
I would also like to start a Playlist from a voice command
I have found myself wanting this feature a lot in the car. cool to show off to friends too: "Zune, please play 'my showoff' playlist on random"
**Now Playing: 'my showoff' playlist on shuffle**
@Fred - I think otherwise - Apple managed to do it just fine (http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/features/voice-control.html).
Just a basic Play/Pause/Next/Previous would be fantastic!
As much as I'd appreciate this feature i doubt it can be implemented very well... Especially with huge music libraries.
