The process of having to add to now playing and then save is bothersome. No option to edit the playlist after is created is worse. This could be so much better.

Yesssss, it is so annoying that you have to add to now playing and then save that, but have no option to edit the playlist!

When I select any playlist, it shows list of all songs. But it is not allow me to delete the song from the playlist or move to another/new playlist. If the feature added to that, it would be good

Instead of asking "Add to now playing", it can ask "Add to new playlist" or "Add to existing playlist". This will help to create playlist from the phone without any itching...

Should sync with Windows Media Player (songs and playlist) or any desktop version

Also: Get the Delete Playlist feature to work. I have 4 playlists that cannot be deleted.

So you want me to get a phone with NO options to sort or customize the music I play, NO way to organize the pictures I take, and no way to sort the vast amount of digital information produced and consumed unless hooked up to a PC? When hooked up to a PC the process is confusing and limited to say the very least. I hope you don't have a team of executives sitting in a board room wondering why WP8 sales are floundering.

I wish I had my old blackberry back. If nothing else for the ease of setting up or adding a playlist. Somebody very high on the geek scale put this together for windows phone. I makes my head hurt every month or so I want to change my playlist. Jump through this hoop...now this one...no not that one this one.

        Hi there,
I am also missing some important features, which in some cases other people have already requested. Some of them are not getting the attention they should get, so I summed them up in one thread. Maybe this will help gathering enough votes to draw attention to our request. Maybe you would like to add some of mine featrues here, or at least vote for my request. If you have more to add, leave a comment, I'll try to update my request.

I have been using grooveshark to work around this, sort of... the trouble is you need wi-fi to stream effectively. Also there is no app available for the windows 8 phone for grooveshark and when I contacted them to ask why their response was that windows had told them they won't allow a grooveshark app to work with a windows 8 phone.... are you kidding me?! Even IOS allows a compatable app for this. It almost seems like Windows is preventing any playlist functionality or 3rd party solutions intentionally! Deal breaker, if they don't fix this soon I will be returning this phone and advising everyone I know never to buy one!

I've had my HTC 8X for about 5 months now...been using it more and more for music. But the more I do the more frustrated I become.
I truly hate the playlist features baked into WP8....I'm sorry....the LACK of playlist features baked into WP8. Why make creating a playlist so trivial?!!....having to add to Now Playing before you can create a new playlist is too many steps for what should be a very simple process. And don't forget to add every song you have because you can't add anything new to an existing playlist (and don't tell me to perform this from my PC....that defeats the purpose of having a smart phone!).
WP8 needs a complete and easy to use Music management interface...create, edit, add, remove, delete, re-order your playlists from the PLAYLIST!!...not your PC and not from Now Playing.
        Sad, Microsoft....Sad!

It is hard to understand, that MS is not able to create a feature, which allows to create/work on playlist as easy, as Android and IOS can do....
If I would have known this earlier, I would have decided to buy a Android Phone, instead!!

Its unbelievable that MS still haven't patched this! I'm a big fan of windows, got a WP8 and an MS Surface - but this is inexcusable that such a basic feature has and is being ignored.
