Enable ADC and MMS configuration within the OS!
Allow all phones to fetch connection settings when SIM is inserted and allow manual mms configuration from within the OS. Unlocked/Int devices need this! Thx!

I have LG C900 AT&T unlocked, and I am able to do MMS. You can try my method and let me know if it would work for you. Under "Settings" -> System -> Cellular -> Edit/Add APN.
Set APN = simple and leave every other fields blank. Exit settings. Now try MMS...Mine work perfectly! -

I am FURIOUS at Microsoft for not fixing this issue and find that it is unacceptable for a smartphone. I have an unlocked LG C900 (Quantum) that I use with T-Mobile and have tried everything: Network Setup app, adding and APN, using the MFG app. Spent hours on the phone talking to LG customer service, T-Mobile customer service, and AT&T customer service (impossible to reach Windows customer service. If it even freaking exists). The most frustrating thing about not being able to receive MMS is that when people send grouped texts, they sometimes convert into MMS or something, so even though there's only text in the message, still can't read it. Furthermore, Zune will not detect the Windows 7.8 update. I debranded my phone using the MFG app and at first it worked, Zune finally detected the update, and it actually seemed to have fixed the MMS issue: for about a week I was finally able to send/receive MMS. But my phone starting spontaneously rebooting when I was using it. I figured it had to do something with have debranded the phone with the MFG app. So I factory reset the phone. Instead of resetting it to the version of Windows it had come with, 7.0, it reset it keeping 7.8. But I couldn't use MMS anymore. So I tried resetting it again, this time to the "previous version" via Zune. Phone went back to some 7.5 update. I tried debranding it with MFG again so I could go back to 7.8 (I figured I'd rather have the phone rebooting once in a while than not be able to use MMS). But it didn't work anymore. Didn't want to detect the update no matter what tricks I used (the "disconnect wifi" trick, etc). Finally ended up forcing the 7.8 update with the "SevenEighter" app which is not the same as doing it through Zune. WINDOWS PHONE IS **** AND WINDOWS SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Wow, what are they thinking? Aswell for lack of flash support, no way to send contacts, no way to share your internet.

I work for Microsoft and this was an absolutely ridiculous thing to fix; one that needs to be fixed for WP 7, too. Unbelieveable. Even the "hacks" for this using HTC and Nokia-specific connection apps only fix the MMS issue and don't permit the built-in Bing search features to work... This is seriously wrong. WP Product Group do the right thing and fix this; what the heck were you thinking in the first place and what were you thinking not fixing this after so many people have had issue? Do the right thing and FIX IT NOW!

SOLUTION for Nokia Lumia all models.
download the "Network Setup" app from the marketplace. Run once, all settings are downloaded from the network provider. No need to enter anything manually. Just exit and reboot phone. MMS working.
This worked straight away on Nokia Lumia 800 on O2 in UK.

Ok guys I was struggling with same issues with my HTC titan using straight talk. Found the solution. It makes everything work, mms, internet,4G etc. Ok so download the connection setup app. Open it, on bottom right corner select manual setup, click on the name of provider,it opens available providers. Click consumer cellular. Save it. Now go into settings, home, cellular. Add/edit apn. Where it says apn enter att.mvno leave everything else blank. Restart phone. Make sure WiFi was on during all this. Also download another app called cellular data from market place as well. This tells you what your internet settings are, will say weather WiFi is on or data. It should say home, hspa for the data. Hope this helps.

Good news guys, but it looks like we'll have to wait until WP8 for this much needed feature.
At least we know they're working on it! Don't know they were thinking to ship the OS without it. -
