  What is miss most about my android phone is the speaker icon in the keyboard if I want to add contact just hit he speaker button and say it and it filled it in. no typing it in. any entry could be enter by voice if wanted. I am old with big fingers and have a hard time typing

  How about adding an API for users to add support for their own languages?
  This allows the users of a language to aid in adding speech recognition for their own language if they want.

  all screens requiring text entry should also provide the option to enter data by speech. and the speech recognition should be more reliable than Microsoft's 'tellme'. This service is hit and miss for accuracy.

  PLEASE ADD & IMPROVE THIS FEATURE FOR WP 7.8!

  apple just come out with siri which is there voice recognition system and it works throughout almost there in tired OS we need something bigger and better microsoft! lets beat apple :)

  I use voice on my Xbox and will NEVER go back, I use voice on Mango texting and will never go back, I think we most certainly should have voice capability throughout the OS and in the same fashion as voice texting. I like the OS prompting me to "try again or send". I can be driving down the road an have a totally hands free texting experience. THIS IS HUGE and a big safety factor as well. This is right near the TOP of my list. Mango is AWESOME. Not much to complain about.

  I have found myself wanting this feature a lot in the car for music. cool to show off to friends too: "Zune, please play 'my showoff' playlist on random"

  For example from almost any screen I want to be able to say "Phone, call Amy" similar to Zentel or Xbox360.

  I agree with the requests for improved voice recognition - this should really be one of the primary focuses of the platform, particularly since I see kids/preteens using voice recognition almost exclusively.

  More voice control/operation for any device, but especially a handheld device, is a good thing.

  It's 5 days before the iphone5 announce. I'm sure that voice recognition is the next big thing. I know i'd love to respond to email and text messages via voice instead of a tiny keyboard. The current voice recognition has poor recognition rates compared to Android, or the Dragon app on iPhone. There's also no support for punctuation.
