  Smart Dialing is really required

  Also want the ability to type a name on the dial pad and bring up existings matching contacts. Like you can on android.

  This makes perfect sense! Why was this available in windows mobile 6 but not on Windows Phone 8?

  There is a very good application called RapDialer, but IMO this should be default in WP8

  Guys 7 dialer gives this look for it on marketplace.

  This ability is in SmartDial. With contact pix and all. Should really be part of WP.

  It would also be nice if the picture displayed on the contact list would be showing when on the actual call. Sometimes you have the name, but don't remember the face....

  It should also use the letters on the keypad to search contacts as well. ie Andy would be 2639 and show a list of contacts and or numbers that match 2639
