This suggestion is the same as the one titled "put folder button in the taskbar in outlook".

I agree. I never use "search" within the email program. I use "folders" all the time. At least allow us to choose which icons go on the menu bar.

Yes. Like the tabs button in the browser, the email folders button deserves a spot in the top-level interface in the email app.

I agree. The 'select' icon is useless in my opinion. You can simply click to the left of any email and you get the same thing. An option might even be to allow the icons at the bottom to be selectable/customizable. Allow people to choose what icons they want in the settings menu. Such an easy fix. That way everyone can have what they want down there.

Bring back the folders icon! I used to use this many times a day while checking email. As Lowell mentions: add an "Unread Mail" function so people can look see all their unread mail at a glance instead of having to look through lots of subfolders. As many people do, I have email rules setup to move new mail from specified senders/subject matter into certain folders. I never get a new mail notification when I mail gets sent to these folders and I have to manually search through all the subfolders to find it. With many subfolders this becomes very tedious.

I agree! There's room on the far left for one more icon. As a "smartphone" is by default set to sync automatically in the background why is there the need to elevate the Sync command to an always-visible button and bury the Folders button? Because of the lack of a proper "Unread Mail" view that shows subfolder unread mail too, I had to rely on the 1-2 click step of going to the Folders icon. Now that it's buried, that's yet another step.
