I would like to see this integration internationally as there is a substantial overseas contingent that communicates within and across borders.

Yes, I think Microsoft could provide an Chinese extension patch(If you need some special function for Chinese, you can install this path) to let windows phone OS could support Chinese Characteristics.
When the user install this patch. WP people Hub could include QQ(tencent) Weibo(Sina) renren etc.
When the localized application provide by patch, if some social service has changed, MS could not change all WP OS, just update the patch could support the latest social service.
Thus, other countries local support could like this, I need china local support I can install the china support patch, if I am an another country user, I can install the another support patch.

I hope MS could provide a better WP OS for us.

i'm a chinese but i don't think this would make sense.
you should know microsoft has competition with tencent on IM actually. live messenger vs qq. and microsoft foreces wp user to use live messenger, at least forces user to have a live id could be used to chat. microsoft could just wait people turning to live messenger 'cause they just like wp so much.
then you could see the problem is on tencent side.
would tencent simply accept the intergration so we could chat like using live messenger? or strive to optimize this laggy app?
you should talk to tencent not microsoft.
