  skydrive is great, but live mesh and skydrive services should work together, because syncing file per file is not practical

  the sync folder should be vieweable on skydrive when i log in from my wp7

  ... or just combine Live Mesh and Skydrive to make 30 GB syncable storage. Skydrive is great, but I want to sync my doc uments to it.

  I want this too. To clarify, if you save from the phone, you save to Skydrive, but not to the Skydrive/Live Mesh area - so files are not synced back to PC.

  Although it can be accessed via a web page, it'd be much 'cleaner' to access it via the Office hub, with the files only synced to the WP7 'on opening' and removed from the phone after a user determined period of time and / or a newer version being on another device

  Agreed. I live off Live Mesh for my multiple laptops. That said, you would have to have a way to control what gets synched more granularly as I'm sure people wouldn't want 5gb of their 8gb phone's memory all of a sudden filled by Live Mesh.

  Agreed, this would be a nice added benefit and would make accessing files from your computer much simpler.

  They had this for Windows Mobile 6.5. They should make an improved version for WP7.
