Put a microphone key on the keyboard, and all application can have consistent speech recognition whenever there's text to be entered

Love my Samsung Galaxy S2 mic feature where I can speak to compose email or search for app plus zillion other functions. This dealbreaker is keeping me from going fulltime to Lumia 900 I just won in contest.

And put it in a spot that I won't keep accidentally hitting it!

the lack of phone recognition button on the keyboard is a huge drawback of this os when compared to android...

I agree. I just converted from Android and it is the feature I miss the most.

This seems like a no brainer and it's one thing I miss the most from Andriod. Some simple thing that are not in the Mango OS amaze me. WP7 is an awesome OS but needs to quickly address little things like this and also the bigger issues too.
