  True,one of the most common feature remain unsolved,even after updating WP7.5 to WP7.8,The feature is not fully solved,as of now I can recharge my prepaid account through topups but can't reply to various options of USSD message,as on reply what I see is "SYSTEM ERROR" or simply the "ERROR".I hope windows phone developer will add the feature in its latest update and provide us very soon.

  I see that USSD is not available on Windows Phone 8 either. Good luck selling your "cheap Windows phone for Africa" without this!

  HTC 8S - no SIM ToolKit support?? How can this be? Basic phone functionality, critical in many global markets

  Please add the ussd feature for windows phone. Even cheap chinese phones support ussd but my omnia w doesn't. Everytime i want to purchase or get some info via ussd, i have to take the sim out, insert in another phone, activate the serivce, then again insert the sim in windows phone. Its hard to believe how can someone omit such common features from a phone OS. If this feature is not implemented in the next update, i'll switch to android.

  I will just dump Windows Phone if the 7.8 & 8 don't come with this needed feature. I can't even make a transaction. What a shame Microsoft.

  Kindly add ussd codes in WP. Not having this is a nuisance since we have to use other means to subscribe/get information. I am from India and can get ussd messages such as call cost after a call even in very budget GSM phones but not on a smartphone such as WP? I believe that always its the little things that count apart from the big things. This feature should be provided to both the 7.8 and 8.0 devices.

  I am going to sell my windows phone (lumia 800) because I can not use mobile banking, can not activate data packs and check their balance. All of this solely work on USSD on my operator and without it, I cant do anything.

  Its a shame that windows phone doesn't support it and unfortunately I got to know about it only after buying phone. I was taking this feature granted because every other phone even the cheapest one has it.

  I won't recommend windows phone to anyone. Sorry microsoft.
