Currently it requires 3 taps to get to a different folder other than Inbox.

This drives me insane. It's such a basic navigational issue that I'm amazed Microsoft hasn't found a more elegant solution.

This is really my only complaint about the Mango update. I use this button constantly as I have 12-15 folders with tons of rules to auto-sort my incoming messages. It would also be nice to receive notifications when new mail comes into a folder than isn't the in box.

The folder button was the first thing I missed when I upgraded to Mango. Please bring it back!

I use the folder buttom infinitely more than select, and probably 100X more than sync. I don't think I'm unique. Maybe skip the folder button if there is only 1 folder being sync'd, but if there are multiple folders, use folders instead of sync or select.

I still have WP 7.0 and I constantly use the folder button. Will miss it a lot after upgrading to Mango. Please bring it back.

I still have WP 7.0 and I constantly use the button. I need it, and will miss a lot after upgrading to Mango.

Yes it was there in WP7.0 I want this back. Or an option in Settings to turn it back if millions of others dont care for folders. I work mostly in Outlook so I need folders please :)

YES!!! This is so annoying. Now it takes three taps to move folders. I move folders way more then I search. At least give me the OPTIONS to bring the folder button back. Don't force my hand. I like folder better then search. Someone might like search better then folders. Give us OPTIONS!

I don't mind if this is deeper in the options as it is now as long as there was an option to show total unread messages for all subfolders in the EMAIL live tile... I use the folders button originally to check if I have email in other folders than my inbox, like junk mail, travel folder, etc... I sort my email with hotmail rules so my inbox doesn't get crowded with email that isn't that important...

When I first moved to Mango, this was the very first thing I noticed missing. While I can add a home screen tile for each of the folders I use, that's just not realistic. It used to take me one tap to get to select the folder I wanted. Now it takes me several. It doesn't make sense to me why multi-select gets two entry points with a single tap and selecting folders gets zero.

In corporate environments, it is very common to use folders to group emails, and navigating to these folders should be simple, as it was in WP7.0.

        Suggested fixes:
        1. The searchbutton in the taskbar is redundant - the hard button below should be made contextual again, so pressing it in Outlook starts email search, etc.
        2. Move the select button to the hidden pop-up menu and restore folder button on taskbar.
