SkyDrive File Manager
Almost everyone with a Windows Phone wants a file manager. So why not let SkyDrive be the file system? The phone could have a local file system that mirrors/syncs with the SkyDrive file system natively within the OS.

The SkyDrive app is not enough. SkyDrive needs to be interegated into every aspect of the phone. See how cool it is to see your SkyD pictures albums right there in the Pictures hub along with the ones you've taken or saved. Extend that to Music + Videos. Let us save email attachements, downloads from webpages there too. Then lets us play them back in Windows Media Center. It could be so cool.

Since Windows Phone now as an official app for SkyDrive which works quite well, we all should consider this request served. I am revoking my votes.

I think the integration of the office hub in WP should be more complete.
What is missing:
- Save file in a specific folder (now you can only save to the root)
- Delete File
- Move File to another folder (this feature is also not available to files saved in the root from the hotmail>skydrive implementation) -

IMO this is essential and needn't compromise security. If apps need to be sandboxed, that's fine keep them that way and prevent people from browsing their content.
All we're asking is that a *section* of the drive be opened up so that its content can be managed by the user. We should be able to create folders and store any file types within this shared section.
This shared section could be recognised as a drive when the phone is connected to a PC to allow for USB mass storage.
Apps should be allowed to access this shared space so that files can be loaded / retrieved.
It is not enough to expect people to store everything on Skydrive. The internet is not always available (especially when in a foreign country).
The phone should be able to store our personal files both in the cloud and on the device.
This is a small thing to ask for something that would massively add to the usability.

I agree with this suggestion. I cannot delete my files from SkyDrive via WP7! This is odd..
