Battery life, status, % be always visible on the main screen no need to go to settings each time. Also enable stamina mode feature to in a single choice instead of disabling each options like wi-fi, blu tooth, GPRS etc.. which drains the battery ! These must be basic function of the mobile OS itself and not dependent on any outside developer. Thanks

Just swipe down from the top of the tile screen shows wifi battery percentage and signal strength

I cannot believe that this isn't an option, the battery percentage has been shown on the phones battery since the dawn of time! How is it that you can only view it in settings, it really does not make any sense.

In order of priority, IMHO, it would be nice if you could:

1.Select what you want in the status bar much like the lock screen - date, time, and the numerical %battery, etc..
        2. An option to keep the status bar visible
        3. Live tiles for notifiers - I've tried a number of battery tiles and none seem to be able to keep themselves updated unless you open them so maybe it's an OS limitation I don't know

Either this, and/or allow us to see an actual % of battery life left in the top bar. This is one thing I desperately miss from Android.

I used Nokia N8 with Symbian before.
Aplication from Nokia Baterry monitor was essential for managing of my battery life.
I was able to manage 4 days on one charge only because I was able to determinate where the leakage was.
        Please work ****** Microsoft.

Guys I rather want a notification bar icon with percentage numbers inside the battery icon!

Start screen > Settings > Battery Saver, a very "long" way just to check the battery %.

All that's needed is a settings switch in general settings, that selects either the battery icon, or a percentage display. Should be simple! Many of us really do pay closer attention to our battery status than just quarter full, half full, etc.

Check out "connectivity tiles". Its an application which allows you to pin mos of these options directly on the start screen (wifi, bluetooth, GSM mode and flight mode).

No battery access unfortunately, but the option to quickly turn (for example) my gsm data connection off, or bluetooth on when I needed it and immediatly off again is priceless.

I agree with the comments here, this is essential for Windows phones, so that users can see at a glance what their battery status is.

I would like to have the option to have battery percentage shown as a tile on the start screen.

        Y E S!!!!
Either a % in status line like iPhone or a tile showing "% left"
        ....
        plus E, H, 3G status... ;-)
