  3G never meant to be for data only. I still remember when those day the world first introduced to 3G technology, they emphasize on Video calling. But that very core future is not available in 3G phone today? Ridiculous! Hope Microsoft use their brain to realize this. They screwed Xbox ONE, and they starting to ***** Windows 8 Phones too...

  I made a mistake. I shouldn't have bought this Lumia 820 today! I never knew it doesn't have video call facility. I feel I should throw it and go for an android one right away.

  Although Skype is an alternative to the video calling.. however in skype, let's say straight from People hub, can you video call a mobile number? You make a video call to a Skype id. This means the other person has to be logged into Skype using either a laptop, a PC or a mobile device. With native video call support in mobiles this IS NOT NEEDED. You can place a video call to another mobile number. All you need is a 3G or 4G SIM. You do not even need a data plan. The call might need high speed data access, but the user does not need data plans. That way it works out to be very cost effective.

  So a native video call feature would be so good to have on the phone..

  please give native video calling over 3g in next update....many of asian countries having this problem...

  unbelieveable.... its few leaps backwards.........

  The N8 was my best phone and had better usability

  有許多手機有前鏡頭，使用的手機網路訊號也是3G，智慧型手機竟然不能打視訊電話，這真的是一件很不可思議的事情。
  Many have 2 camera and network is 3G, but windows phone can not make video call via 3G is unbelieveable.
