Unfortunately this is a showstopper for me, without beiong able to make/receive calls on my car kit (Vauxhall Insignia) I will need to go back to an Android phone!

Hey guys! Any news for a rSAP BT connectivity update from WP7? Same problem as you had, Nokia Lumia 800 can't connect with VW Premium BT kit.... My old E72 worked perfectly......

After using WM 6.5 for almost 3 years (HTC HD Mini), I felt that it was time for a upgrade. Never thought that support for rSAP would have been dropped by WP8 (Samsung ATIV S).
So disappointing that the Bluetooth system of one of the biggest car manufacturers (VW) is no longer supported by WP8.

****. I have used the HTC HD 7 last 2,5 years. rSAP was supported by WP 7.5 and 7.8. Now I have bought two NOkia LUmia 920 and both of them does not supprt i9t. I have spend a lot of money for my AUdi and VW Bluetooth Systems which are not usabe with one of the best phones on earth. WHat's going on in your heads NOkia and MIcrosoft. Please provide an update ASAP.

I am really disappointed. Bought yesterday Nokia Lumia 920 and have expected, that the rSAP will work, because the manfacturer of the phone and the hands free car kit are the same. Later I have had to realize, that Nokia had never mind their loyal users and is not able the support. It's a shame. I'm going to mine one-day-old Lumia 920 and buy a Andorid e.g. Samsung Galaxy S3; the rSAP is already included

We can't use our company phone fleet in our company car fleet. Absolutely ridiculous!

Definitely required for the thousands of loyal Nokia customers who have Audi/VW/Skoda etc

Leaving Windows Mobile even though I love the system. The lace of rSAP is a serious drawback

its silly right Nokia Symbian phones has SPP, DUN, SyncML, Mirrorlink etc and the WPs is missing all these!
Nokia still want MS to save them... oh... boy.. good luck.
ppl can afford such cars are better off getting a iPhone or Android phone.

Please implement RSAP! I really like Phone 7, but lacking RSAP is a shame...

This was available on earlier Windows Mobile 6.x Phones and most Nokia Symbian phones! It needs to be added for existing Lumia phones and new models. Please add to 7.8 and 8.0.

ridiculous if it does not. This is a premium feature on premium cars. My HD2 supports it natively. Utterly ridiculous if WP8 does not.

This is a showstopper for me. My car only supports SAP profile, no other. If I have to change my phone or my car ...

rSAP support is a hard requirement for my next phone. I like to keep using my outside car antenna which works fine (VW, premium car handsfree set).
The Nokia Lumina 800 is nice, but as long as rSAP is not supported windows phones not an option for me.

I really cannot understand why WP7 does not offer the BT support for SIM Access Profile ... hopefully you will fix this. Because of this failure I need to change to another os soon.

        Long overdue
Nokia will really want this as ALL their high end phones have had it for years.
