It won't work for everyone, but for our family the new Rooms in Windows Phone 8 have filled this need (in fact, more so in our particular situation). We don't need to share our Exchange calendars anymore at all, much less on our phones. Still, Rooms won't work for corporate employees who need to see each others' calendars on the run! It really should be implemented.

Shane V, you can see others' calendars on your phone now? And their appointments are only on your Exchange server, not in your own calendar? I am not able to do this.

Scratch my last comment. This in fact does work now. Had to manually press the sync button to get it to work. Very weird.

This works on iphone, this works with mail from Google. Ironically, this doesn't work with Microsoft Outlook on their latest phone. WP8 is dead in the business/enterprise market without enabling shared calendars, Cisco VPN and some exclusive business gimmicks (free idea for Microsoft: PowerPoint Presentation Remote app; serve the computer connected to the projector an URL to launch some fullscreen webapp which shows the presentation which is stored in the cloud, and have the phone control the slideshow back/forward/black screen + show notes on phone. Such simple gimmicks like this would make lots of companies ditch the iphone without looking back; an option for enforcing "always route all traffic through VPN" in company IT security policy and a few other simple security features of the same kind would also convince the IT department right away).

It has been a year ....was wondering if this suggestion has been implemented?

Painful to only see 1 calendar on my windows phone. IS there any way around ?

This should be a no-brainer "need to support" for not only business, but even consumers like me who are using office365 hosted exchange email. In order to work around this we need to create a third account (outlook.com) and have all our family members access that account separately. And of course having native outlook application requires a "kludgy" outlook/hotmail connector to make it work from the desktop.

Pretty large item for any corporate or enterprise user base. Maybe Windows Phone 8 will finally do it?

Assuming that i'm using outlook which is this product are from the microsoft to. I expected that windows phone has this feature by default.

The ability to view and edit shared Outlook calendars is a big thing for a lot of buisness users who may not yet be on the new windows phone platform. I believe the buisness user would be a likely candidate for windows phone due to the idea of easy integration and many of the tools they use on a regular basis at work. Shared calendars is certainly one of those features.
