  Or perhaps a swipe gesture on the screen (just like the BlackBerry PlayBook). I am really paranoid about my lock/unlock button wearing out and becoming unusable since it is used so much. Some sort of screen gestures of ability to use capacitive buttons to wake the phone would be highly appreciated.

  Agreed! Please let us double-tap to wake the screen (a'la Nokia N9) instead of having to press a hardware button.

  This is one of those great, "no-brainer" features of the Nokia N9. Let's bring it to Windows Phone!

  Completely agree! Also, just practical withouth having to touch a physical button to wake.

  No votes left but this would be great - basically take it from the N9 handset.
