Dont allow to publish same application multiple times with Name/Language changes only
In the marketplace we can find applications like this:
and finally this:
All are the same application, from the same publisher, and all have been published the same exact day. The unique different feature in all 4 apps is the language, spanish, english, french...
Please vote to not allow to publish apps with the same exact code, only changing the language or the rss feed, or the url of source, it only damage Windows Phone Marketplace.

Search Facebook and you will see so many duplicate un official apps with same name FACEBOOK. users are getting confused.
Yep, It's ******* you off when you install an application under one name and after installing name changes to something and you need to scroll through the list to find a current name....
In that case simple solution would be allowing to easier locale depended app name determination - for now handling entire dll stuff and all that is kinda too expensive for simple apps.
I think they have problem with the Modeling of "Relational Database" ))) They store all Apps and Games in one table instead of create several different tables and one table for the language - to set Database into normal form )))) that's why when u select the Apps there is not only Apps but also the games - and the same think for the language ))
And don't allow to publish the same application or game at the same time as application and game.
If you browse throw them this happens frequently
merge lite and full version on same listing. option of choosing between lite.and full versions could be made before installing
Seriously, this is such a giant flaw. Spam on the marketplace is such a big issue.
would be nice if they deployed ad-ons to gfwp7 platorm as i now see doubles of some games just to show ui changes
Yeah, this is making a junkyeard from marketplace.

It kinda reflects the mess that is Android market, which I have seen. It is ridiculous and should be removed swiftly. The problem is it makes you look like you have more apps than you actually do, and when users see that on a platform such as WP, they will immediately terminate their contract and move to iPhone or Android. Android, by its very nature, is just about able to get away with this, but a gatewatcher market such as Windows Marketplace for Mobile and Apple App Store, this is one of the biggest sins going.
My French and Spanish are a bit lacking, but the German version is obviously machine translated and the text displayed in the screenshot would re-translate to something like "click on going the route" ("Strecke" is the word for track in the travel/racing sense).
And yes, I agree that it doesn't look good. Particularly not since I understand it's pretty easy to develop multilingual apps.
seems like a nobrainer
I agree. For the language let the user choose when he is installing or use the default language of our wp7 for choosing the correct app before dowloading.
great man!!i agree!!
completamente de acuerdo
