  This still hasn't happened fully yet even with Windows Phone 8. We need fuller, at least Facebook-like integration with Skype, a company now owned by Microsoft. Also tiring is the fact that at the moment I need to re-link all my Outlook contacts with their respective Skype contacts that get added after I install and login to Skype for the first time after an OS reinstall (Even though they're already linked in the Outlook Web Contacts list).

  Excellent idea for a complete social phone. Google plus is the other social service that is desperately needing integration

  These are wasted votes. This is already coming with Windows Phone 8. Please vote on something that HASN'T been confirmed yet. This already has.

  This would make WP sell like crazy...imagine going to phone to dial only to have Skype Enabled...:D

  Skype integration would actually change the whole feel of the windows OS , comparing to android and ios in the market

  Skype have also these contacts like fb and twitter, it will be better to take it with people.

  Why only People? Also integrate it with Messaging like Facebook-chat.. The only reason I started using chat is due to the integrated, unified messaging..

  Not necessarily with the People function itself but simply to have an app for it like any other smartphone?
