  Totally agree and don't tell me to use the flight mode. I'm in no plane, just trying to charge my phone while I sleep without being disturbed by incoming messages. Thanks.

  The initial vibration on start of charging should be removed, too.

  I strongly suport above suggestion, it is a surprising change in configuration since my previous Nokia mobiles. Fail to understand why it was done

  I agree, it is not nesseceary to have the phone on all night, it is also not good for the environment.
