  This would be a nice feature, but only if available from all areas. I.e. Long press the windows key.

  There's a Notifications pane already under the Me Tile. They just need to optionally add the missing notifications and maybe a filtering method as well.

  I don't care which way you have to swipe or where the notifications come from, but a notification center is badly needed!

  No, swipe to right in the multitasking window, so it is available anywhere you are !
