Time sync. Now. Via NTP.
NTP time sync, with an option to use the mobile data connection or WiFi/USB only, similar to phone updates.

With GDR2/Amber time is now synched with mobile phone connection. Not as accurate as NTP, but sufficiently accurate. Thanks for the update!
Theres already a more successful demand, better support this: http://windowsphone.uservoice.com/forums/101801-feature-suggestions/suggestions/3147755-internet-time-sync-via-ntp-server
Theres another suggestion like this, which has already more votes... Probably better to transfer them to the other one to underline it...
In Hungary I can't sync time with SIM card. Hurry the time on my phone. The latest **** ****** watch is more accurate. It's ridicolous. No more WP.
My carrier in that's I use in Thailand isn't provide the time sync with SIM card
It's really terrible, you take out a lot of money to buy a new mobile phone with new Os and then you notes one of basic functions, such as automatic time sync are not even there. That had been in Windows 95 with this, is Windows Phone 8 not even on the stand of Windows 95 or was it too much work to take in this.
sorry my english is not the best
WinPhone is not as polished as Symbian. This would be one step in catching up with it.

Even without any carrier and net access e.g. far away in the outback a sync via gps should be possible.
Many carriers overseas have problems with the current method. This proposal is the best alternative method for date/time sync.
Manual is just too... manual.
