The only real medical app, Merck, is gone from the store now. Now the medical app selection is practically non-existent!

Are you hearing us Microsoft?? Please please hurry and develop serious medical apps like Medscape or Epocrates!!! Lots of us in the medical community would like to do the switching but won't do it unless there is at least one of those applications that we use on a regular basis! Doctors and nurses don't have much time to write on forums, but they've got plenty of time to buy and use WP8 devices, so please don't forget us!!!

As a soon to be resident, I'd gladly switch to windows phone if it had Epocrates and/or micromedex & Up to Date. I'd also like Medscape

I agree, medical apps are a necessity. There are so many people working in the health care department including the students who would consider the lack of a good medical apps for Windows a deal breaker. Please consider this.

As a medical student in clinical rotations, Windows Phone 8 MUST add the following medical apps to attract more health care providers/students:
1. Epocrates
2. Medscape
3. Web MDI would really like a Nokia Lumia 822, but if I cant get around the lack of medical apps on Windows Phone 8, I will seriously consider switching to an iPhone or an Android device.

Micromedex is really needed if Microsoft wants a pice of the medical marked, which is a key demographic in the iPhone world.

I am a Physician Assistant in the Seattle area. I have a Nokia 822 smartphone running Windows 8. My iPod's battery isn't holding a charge very long any more. I would like to have the Epocrates applications running native on this device. Yes, I can run Essentials in the browser but not the Atlas, CME, flash cards, or medical French apps. I am considering a Surface with Windows 8 purchase when it becomes available. Please help get medical software on Windows 8!
Thanks,

I used windows phone for over 5 years and upgrded to the Nokia 920. The phone quality is great, but it IS too heavy. Microsoft has gone BACKWARDS! With Windows 8 I can no longer sync to outlook on my PC. Outlook connector is tortuous, frustrating and does not work well. Epocrates is no longer available. So I was forced to switch to android!

hello boss ,eureka, i just figured a way out. on the windows phone 8, which uses the real IE browser, set up an account on medscape and login, make sure you select remember me, once you are in the drug reference page, pin the page to the start page and eureka you have it!!!! you do not have to login in everytime you look up a drug. i knows its not the better than a dedicated app, but its defintiely better than nothing, hope that helped......made my life so much easier

I love my Nokia lumia 920...... But please we need medical apps ASAP such as Merck manual, medscape, epocrates, etc. I recently traded my iPhone for the Nokia 920 since I think the lumia is a much better phone, but I really miss the apps from iOS. Please Microsoft, me and all the medical professionals need the help when it comes to he apps.
